Clinical Approach
My natural clinical style is direct and action oriented, with an emphasis on behavior change. As we get to know each other, we will clarify what is most important to you in your life, and we will come up with ideas to realign your life with your values. I will help keep you accountable to trying new things and following through with your plans. Sessions with me also tend to involve visuals and analogies to make abstract ideas more concrete, evidence-based information and interventions, a friendly and light-hearted attitude, and lots of encouragement!
Why "Boldly You"?
Because I want you to take a good honest look at who you are and what is important to you, and I want to help you make the brave choice to step boldly in the direction of your values, even in the presence of fear, doubt, and other challenges life is presenting you with.
