Finding a good fit is hard.

When it comes to something as personal and impactful as therapy, finding the right fit for you is important. Let me tell you a bit more about myself and how I work to help you decide if you want to give me a call! I also offer a free consultation call to all potential new clients to help you make your decision.

How are therapy sessions with me typically structured?

At the end of our previous session, we would have identified something to work on for the week.

At the start of the session, we will check in and set a loose agenda for what we hope to cover during our time together. This usually includes a combination of what you’ve been working on from our last session and other concerns that came up over the week.

Throughout our discussion, I weave in new ideas and some structured activities based on the treatment goals we’ve set together.

We wrap up our session by recapping any key points and identifying your intentions for the week ahead.

Am I the right fit for you? Here are some factors that might help you decide.

I specialize in OCD and OCPD.

I find that I help clients the most when clients are coming to therapy to address obsessive-compulsive concerns.

I am both goal-oriented and flexible.

I feel most effective when I help my clients work toward their goals, while also addressing other issues that arise during the course of therapy.

I strive for balance in our sessions.

I do my best work when I can both hear the details about my clients’ concerns and share my own ideas.

I am running a solo practice.

While there are some benefits to this, one limitation is that I don’t have the resources to support clients who are frequently in crisis.
